The manual tensioning mechanism applies consistent force to Smart Band and Smart Tie polymer bands without requiring calibrated input from the operator — pull, lock, cut. The integrated cutter completes the installation in the same movement, leaving a clean band end with no sharp protrusion to snag on cables, equipment, or PPE. Fully corrosion-resistant in saltwater, splash zone, and subsea environments — the tool itself poses no corrosion risk to adjacent equipment.
